Meet the Team

Dr. Mostafa Shehabeldin is a board-certified periodontist and dental implant surgeon with extensive training in periodontal surgery, bone regeneration, and complex implant therapy. His international academic and clinical background allows him to provide advanced surgical care using the latest evidence-based techniques in modern periodontics and implant dentistry.
Dr. Shehabeldin earned his dental degree with distinction from Cairo University before completing advanced specialty training in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery at the University of Michigan. He also earned both a Master’s degree and a PhD in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, where his research focused on bone regeneration and innovative biologic therapies for periodontal disease.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Shehabeldin serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, where he is actively involved in teaching advanced surgical techniques and conducting research in regenerative therapies and implant dentistry.
